  4. Islam – the Religion of Peace? Death Penalty for homosexuals? Have you ever asked yourself why Muslim countries are economically weak and poor? Why are there so many wars in Muslim countries (Syria, Jemen, Sudan….)? Because Islam doesn't care about Humanity, doesn't care about free thinking and doesn't care about education. Dr. Naik, you are the "INSIDE JOB". As long as you spread your hatred, your followers will stay poor, weak, uneducated. And inhumane.

  10. Brother Zakir, first of all, the state should be separated from the religion. Second, you should give people the same rights as yourself, in other words, you wouldn't want someone preventing you from practicing Islam and whatever people choose to do with their life is their right as long as it doesn't affect you or others. Finally, you can be for free will and choice without agreeing with the activity. In other words, we Muslim's don't drink alcohol, but leave others to have the right to drink if they will.

  12. Nobody forced us to vote Jammeh out, we did that because we wanted him out. The man didn't just have faults, he had too much power and nobody to stop him. He started good but lost track somewhere along those long two decades… Those who know know. I feel it is not proper to make excuses for his "faults" because he was a Muslim. He declared The Gambia an Islamic state in a press release! A country that had been secular for 50 years and Muslims and Christians lived together side by side in peace and harmony – this declaration, by the way, was never really effective and the Government returned back to calling our country just "The Gambia" way before Jammeh left. There is currently what is called the Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission in Gambia (TRRC), you should give that a watch; It's a start for outsiders to really understand what it was like during his regime.

    My question is, "I'm a college student and I'm a student of commerce/business studies group.is it permissable in Islam to read in business studies group? because I have to solve maths of interest and banking companies.so is it halal to read business studies?"

  45. I asked her if she believed Jesus (peace be upon him) that he and indeed the messenger of God she said yes.

    I asked her and if she believed in Mohammad (peace be upon him) that she recognized that he was also God's Messenger she said yes.

    But now she wants to stay in her Christian religion and she doesn't want to convert to Islam …..? Thank you Dr zakir naik for your answer, what could you tell me please.
