  1. The pc post structuralist denial of science in favor of ideology scares me.
It has the same dogmatic and implacable quality of religious tyranny.

  2. Gay men aren’t necessarily feminine. Some gay men are feminine because the
society brainwash them as half female. This is insane. I think gay people
are born gay but not born feminine.

  3. The american researcher is wrong to an important extent. While many gay
guys are “born that way”, more effeminate in mannerisms, even they
exaggerate their effeminate side and they in turn influence many other gay
men to sometimes (when they are speaking to their gay tribe) act
effeminate, who are not usually at all naturally effeminate in speech or
mannerisms. Not taking this into consideration could seriously skew his
research results. This is a subject that must have truly blind studies. Put
gay people in a straight setting and i’d bet you would not get even a 50%
accuracy with gaydar and gay people themselves would not do much better

The Norwegian researchers on the other hand are so closed minded i don’t
know how they can call what they do is actual research.

personally i believe somewhere around half of us are bi-sexual, and the
rest of us are either hetro or homosexual, in about the same numbers. most
of the homosexual desires (particularly those of the larger group,
bi-sexuals) are newver expressed in society because “nurture” so strongly
brainwashes us not to express them. so i believe the Norwigians are right,
nurture is a big factor but it’s just bizarre for them to assert there is
no biological factor and that many gay people can not be spotted while they
are children. Most, though not all, effeminate boys do turn out to be gay.

As a gay man myself who is very normally (athletic but not overly so and
w/o effeminate mannerisms or speech) masculine i have pretty much only been
attracted to masculine older (athletic) boys since i was a young boy and
masculine men since i was a young man. and given my experience most, and
probably a large “most” gay men, are similarly mostly attracted to athletic
boys and men. it would be my guess, based on experience, that those men
most attracted to effeminate men are more often bi-sexual. the point being
there are all types of gay-bi men so any research, to be meaningful, would
need some really well considered controls

  4. This was amazing. It’s funny to think that being born gay is the “leftist”
position in the U.S and the right wingers say it’s a choice. But in Norway
the “left” says they’re not born that way and it’s a choice. Completely
    mindfucked!

  5. too bad he never addressed the difference between homosexuality and
transexuality. This is precisely where it gets really tricky to untangle
nature vs nurture debate. At many times the documentary confused gender
identity with sexual orientation…. bad bad bad….. But anyway….If he
could start doing more research on his own (looking up papers, references,
showing how studies are made, criticicsm of those studies, etc.) instead of
picking up “experts” on both fields, the documentary could be truly
interesting. So far, and as the title says it, it’s more about showing how
the social sciences know nothing about whatever issue they talk about, how
brainwashed society is into thinking the “unscientific” knowledge of the
social sciences (Especially gender studies) and instead how biology got it
all right…. again, bad bad bad…….. It’s just too biased to make it
interesting. Don’t get why conservatives are so keen to point out towards
this really weak source of information… sick sad world

  6. The arrogance displayed by the Norwegian professors was truly astounding.
They seemed to be completely unwilling to even consider evidence that
disputed their personal beliefs. It was particularly embarrassing when the
female professor used anecdotal evidence from her childhood to refute a
scientific study. They really don’t have any business calling themselves
    scientists.

  7. I am an American and was told by friends that Norway, Sweden, Denmark and
Iceland would never take me as a citizen.

Why? I am European, half North German and half Sicilian but born here in
    the U.S. I had a Norwegian Gudmor.

I don’t want to be American anymore. I want to be Norwegian. I am sick of
the problems here. Everyday all people do is compete and fight. Yes,
people can be nice too but it is a very un-relaxed and unhealthy culture.

  8. >says these results weren’t obtained rigorously
    >proceeds to produce anecdotal evidence
    wtf

  9. You can watch all the programs online for free. It’s one of the best
    documentaries I have ever seen.

  10. The Norwegian scientists come over as rather cult like in their beliefs –
it’s like they stick their fingers in their ears and pretend they haven’t
    heard the evidence.

  11. those self-declared called ‘scientists’ don’t belong in a university. Their
ignorance and arrogance is most damaging and they clearly lack scientific
notions and a basic education in science. I would even go as far as to call
them thought politicians and over-paid high priests of politcal
correctness. They must be caricatures. Really, I can’t believe these people
are anywhere near of being researchers … are you kidding me? … “not
interesting …” It’s sad, really sad that these people work in educational
institutions ‘brainwashing’ a new generation of social scientists(?), most
    unscientific

  12. so im watching this video and i quote ” we are trying to find out what sets
gay people and straight people apart”. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLL. ( roll on the
floor dying from laughter). wait isnt liking the same sex is what makes
them different from straight people. omg this guy is making things
wayyyyyyyyy to complicated. just saying. oh but better get back to the
video. wonder what other silly theories we will find.

  13. interesting. this documentary seems to suggest that homosexual males are
effeminate, female like, prissy, sissy, peaces of garbage. so……. this
is probably going to piss off the normal gay guys. oh well lmfao.

  14. Social scientists start with conclusions then look for “facts” to support
it. They are very similar to creationists.

  15. Jeez, norwegian “scientists” are barely listenable. How can one be so
ignorant about facts and empirical proofs… “It’s not interesting” –
    splendid.

  16. It’s quite amusing how upset these Norwegian “social theorists” get once
they are presented with empirical data revolving around biology. They try
to discredit that which is substantiated through their own self serving
theories, then claim that it is the biologists whom are biased. Absolutely
    disgusting.

  17. those norwegian researchers at the end were so weird: “it is not
interesting”, “not interesting”, “No. NOT INTERESTING!!” WTF? The guy did a
good documentary, and it was VERY interesting.
