  1. Mad at ISIS?…maybe you should watch this. Then, as you drive your SUV to
work, think about who is really to blame.

  3. There’s always root causes for things like terrorism. Shame America doesn’t
realize that they are the cause.

  4. Just over 100 years ago, oil was discovered in large quantities under the
ground of most of the middle eastern states. The motor industry was
developing and more people all around the world and more and more oil was
needed to fuel these cars. Oil was also required for machines in
factories, ships, trains, airplanes and electric power plants as well as
heating houses in cold countries. Because the middles east had such vasts
amounts of oil, it soon became one of the richest and most important parts
of the world. Wars broke out between nations that wanted a share of the oil
and some Middle Eastern countries waged war against each other for control
    of the industry.

There are also disputes over areas of land which different groups consider
to be traditionally their own. In 1948, Jewish people established the
state of Israel on land that the Palestinians had occupied for generations.
Continuous wars and confrontation ever since over this issue…..

  5. The writers like to invent a non-existent history: the tank brought an end
to trench warfare? Says who? Not any of the qualified military historians.
The tanks used were hopeless failures, e.g. of the 36 used in 1 advance, 24
failed to reach the front lines, 8 more were inoperable by the time the
front line was crossed, which only managed to happen after the barrage and
infantry advance. Of the remaining 4, the farthest distance achieved was
less than a mile into enemy territory. They were abandoned; hardly bringing
    an end to trench warfare.

ME WHERE CAN I FIND THE MIDDLE SOUTH THE MIDDLE NORTH THE MIDDLE WEST!!!??

  10. Question: at the start of the program the speaker states that certain areas
were NOT under the control of the Shah of Persia. Why would anyone be
expected to ‘negotiate a contract’ i.e. pay large sums of money, to someone
who is NOT in control of the area affected? Wouldn’t that be the same as
negotiating contracts with Israel covering areas in Jordan?

  11. One correction. @ around 27:30, it is said Darran has largest oil field and
refinery. Largest refinery is in State of Gujarat, India by its company
    Reliance Oil

  12. Good news for North America in particular the United States, as the fact
is the USA and Canada will become energy self sufficient in 2014 as
solar,Natural Gas,Hydrogen and new oil finds will change the face of world
energy. Big loser will be Russia, as oil is its large income.China will
    benefit from the American technology.

  13. Oil has been on the retreat since we first found oil in the US in the mid
1800 we have used (til this day) half of all the world oil, and have never
used as much oil in a year then 2013 and we are still using more and more
of a resource that can be renewed, the future for us dose not look good as
no other power surce can mach oil and we only have oil for a few more
    decades.

  14. Hello I have to summarize this video and my english does not very well to
cath spesefic details and I do not enough time to watch it.Could somebody
send email which brings his or her summarized ideas about this great
documentary untill next thursday it makes me to help get a great mark if I
    done.

  15. power: the heart of the matter, power to rule, power to provide energy,
power to have al the riches. it doesn’t matter who the people are, because
the human race is always destined to take advantage of the weaker and/or
the ignorant group/race of human beings…

  16. What I got from this was basically we need to go back even before the
Ottoman Empire. By that I mean something like the Kurds get back there land
which right now is technically in three different countries. Iraq should be
smaller, similar to the size before ww1 which had less on the north and the
west of the existing country. Even though i am an American and we almost
always back Israel I say we officially give the West Bank to a state called
Palestine but Gaza Strip should be split as well as jeruselum but Gaza goes
70/ 30 Palestine and jeruselum goes 70/30 Jewish. I could go own but I
think we could go back to borders where people would jot be as pissed off
because we all know war there will never go away.

  17. To all the fucking hypocrites calling western countries “greedy imperialist
pigs” or something to that effect. Why don’t you stop fucking complaining
every time the price of oil and everything else goes up? Don’t say on one
hand “Duhr, return the oil to the native people” and then bitch about how
expensive everything is. Your fucking food takes oil to get to your local
supermarket, all manufactured good takes oil to produce. You can’t have the
cake and eat it too fuckers.

  18. that’s it: I’m making a shitload of popcorn and watch “the basis of the end
of the world”! YOU DO KNOW THAT WHEN OIL AND COALS ARE GOING TO BE VERY
DIFICULT TO GET, THE WORLD POPULATION WILL GO DOWN TO LESS THAN 1 BILLION ,
    RIGHT? or less…

  19. So this is is the reason for dictatorship in the Middle East. The oil that
makes the government live independent of his own people.

  20. you are Right the saudi Regime has stole the rich natural resources of
Arabia to their selves I know that becuase I am From Arabia

  21. Because we Muslims practice Islam so well, right? We have nothing to say to
the west until we get our own house in order. We have no education, we have
no peace and we have no vision forward as an Ummah. What in the world are
    we doing?!

  22. this is biased, video has a negative tone of Mossadiq and Nasser when they
    actually represent Arab sovereignty

  23. Those ‘scraps’ must be quite a lot as most of the Western population and
especially in the US are now obese. lol

  24. They didn’t mention Britain’s undercover shit stirring in Serbia before
WW1, that whole war was instigated by them together with France & Russia to
weaken Germany & all because of the Baghdad rail line

  25. re: 4.) I have heard the Gerrymandering of the Ottoman empire was done to
prevent another one from forming also. Specific evidence I don’t have, but
I believe it was a verbal claim or quote of a powerful Brit. Re: 3.) Even
if the house of Saud denied them access to search for water, I don’t
understand the significance of this point. It takes 2 to tango. Do you have
any videos you respect here about the early 20th century in Mesopotamia? I
sensed the story of the female diplomat was embelished

  26. YOU MOTHERFUCKERS ALWAYS FIND A REASON TO GET IN TO OUR COUNTERIES TO STEAL
OUR GOLD AND OIL FUCKING WHITE BASTARDS GOT NOTHING IN YOUR LAND SO YOU
STOLE OTHER PEOPLES WEALTH YOU BUILD YOUR WHOLE COUNTRY WITH LIES MUSLIMS
HAVE GAINED EMPIRES YOU HAVE 1 SHUITTY REIGN WE RULED THE WORLD IF IT WASNT
FOR THE MUGHAL’S DECLINGING IN INDIA YOU WOULD BE PEASANTS!!
