EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Portland gay rights activist Terry Bean pleaded not guilty Wednesday in Eugene to sodomy and sex abuse charges involving a 15-year-old boy. His lawyer, Kristen Winemiller, previously said Bean is the victim of an extortion ring.
