I believe more people would be persuaded to accept the Gospel if the people spreading the word of God would keep their personal hang-ups and phobias out of their message. In the Scriptures, Jesus had to stand firm and speak out against sinful behavior, yet His main motivation was and still is love. God has always loved the sinner, but because of His holiness, He still has to hate sin. It will make more sense when you carefully and prayerfully study the word of God.
