Saturday Night Live’s 45th season continued Saturday with Chance the Rapper as host and musical guest, and new featured player Bowen Yang got another chance to shine.
In a memorable sketch that did not deadname and misgender Caitlyn Jenner, Chance played Judge Barry, who rules on cases based on his first impressions of the defendants.

SNL/NBC
Enter Yang as a male exotic dancer serving a lewk that gave Judge Barry no choice but to find him guilty. “Yep,” said the surly stripper, tossing his hair before making a very extra exit—and thus another multipurpose GIF was born for all your queer “We been knew” and “Bye, Felicia” needs.
Speaking of GIFable moments, Jason Momoa made a surprise cameo in the sketch as a former live-in nurse accused of stealing an older woman’s (Kate McKinnon) chandelier earrings, which turned out to be swinging from his nipples!

SNL/NBC
Bowen is making SNL history as the first Chinese-American performer on NBC’s sketch comedy series, and he’s only the third openly gay male cast member after Terry Sweeney and John Milhiser.
Court is in session below.
