4. Separation between Church and State was not established to protect the Church from the State; it was there to protect the State from the inane, archaic rules of the Church.

5. I am gay….and I believe that we have no business in changing the church's rules. I would just do a civil partnership with a ceremony, you can't make the church believe in something they don't and it is wrong to force them to. Much like how its wrong for the church to try and change gays. I know some gay people want to be married because they are Christian and that's fine but everyone else….Why do we care? I know even atheists get married but why try and force people Isn't that immoral?

8. Marriage is not a religous thing. It wasn't even popular to get married in church untill the the mid 1500s.
