Gina Michelle Bisignano, a southern California salon owner who made headlines in November 2020 for calling someone a “fa*got” several times during an anti-lockdown protest, was recorded outside the Capitol building during the January 6 riot complaining about the fallout from her vile homophobic rant.
Videos and images of her on the Capitol steps quickly went viral on social media after she identified herself by name in at least one of the clips.
In one viral clip, Bisignano was recorded encouraging people to enter the Capitol through a broken window. Several images of her standing in front of the shattered window also circulated on Twitter.

Bisignano’s first made headlines in November after she was caught using homophobic slurs to insult someone at a protest.
According to TMZ, Bisignano was among the crowd of about 50 people who gathered in a Los Angeles neighborhood on November 29, 2020, to protest against safety measures put in place to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
In a viral video clip from that protest, Bisignano is heard calling someone a f***** several times as someone off-camera encourages her to “say it again.” Bisignano appears to move closer to the person who was recording, calls them “disgusting” and asks whether the person is a guy or a girl.
She goes on to call the person a Nazi and a Satanist and that they are brainwashed. Later in the clip, Bisignano is heard exclaiming that she thinks the person in front of her is a “liberal piece of s*** and accuses the person of having had an “abortion this morning.” Bisignano also appears to express an idea from the QAnon conspiracy when she says, “I bet you kill your babies and eat it.”
Internet users later descended on her Yelp page and shared their thoughts about her homophobic rant in the Recommended Reviews section.
“Covid Denying homophobe with a plastic face and filthy mouth, QAnon Trumpette,” one person wrote. “Spend your money elsewhere.”
“Gina gets 1 star because she thinks COVID and the deaths of healthcare workers is less important than her business of doing eyelashes,” wrote another. “Also, Gina hates f*ggots so this f*ggot is leaving a 1 star review all the way from NY. Go f*ck yourself Gina.”
“I always go to Ginas to look my best,” one reviewer wrote sarcastically. “Wether it’s a big gala fundraiser for gay conversion camps or just staying in to relax and call the police on my black neighbors, I know I’ll be gorgeous and feel confident. Thanks Gina.”
“This woman came to my neighborhood and yelled slurs at my neighbors all in the name of denying science,” yet another person wrote. “She is a hateful moron who jeopardizes public health. Good luck with her touching your face.”
