  1. Adoption should not be an option. You cannot have it both ways. If you want kids then you should be in a marriage where it is biologically possible to have kids. Is adoption a right too? What about the rights of the child. A child should only be adopted into an ideal family setting. I know that some will argue that what about a couple who is not allowed to have kids. That is different, because if you are not able to have kids it is because something biologically went wrong. With same sex marriage, it is just biologically never an option. You are trying to create a family that would never be possible to exist. Whereas a regular couple having trouble getting pregnant, if there were no biological complications (like shooting blanks) then a child could be born.
