There has always been Gays and lesbians in Nigeria even when we were
growing up in the 70s we saw it and left people in peace –God only knows
what has happened to our beloved country with this Pharisee spirit whilst
pretending to be Christian…Jesus did not advocate such penalties to
anyone that is as you say is a “sinner”.It is like when we blacks were
criminalized just for being blacks and we are still struggling now to get
justice in most western countries today , we are denied justice because we
are black…and yes the whites seems to think that black means heathens and
they are Jewish people who must not mix with heathens…exactly(!)
My concerns;
1). After 14years imprisonment for gays then what next?
-Will the prison change them?
-No! Its know that jails promote homosexual activities amongst inmates.
2). People who support the Law say 99% of Nigerians agree with the law.
That is to say that the 1% are either Gays or Support Gays.
-According to the law, the 1% should get 14 and 10years jails terms
respectively.
-Now the Question is;
* Can the Nigerian prison accommodate 1% of Nigerians today?
– Note that 1% of 160million Nigerians = 1million+ Nigerians.
3). Its important to also note that God did not destroy Sodom and Gomorrah
solely because of homosexuality.
– He did destroy them because He couldn’t find righteous citizens.
-Its very hypocritical to pick to some moral and leave out others like
fornication, Corruption (lies, stealing, etc) etc.
Lastly and the most concerning is
4). The law isn’t clear enough on who should be tagged gay.
– Can you prove to me you’re not gay?
– Even if you show me your sex tape with an opposite sex I can still say
you’re transgender.
– My dad is a typical African dad. I’ve never seen him publicly showing
emotional affection to his wife. Does that make him gay?
– I’ve never been seen partying in a club does that make me gay?
Now what I’m saying is that this law is based on accusations. Many people
in Nigeria will go to jail because of accusations of been gay. This law is
very dangerous.
Let me educate this guy in red a little. My friend, if you think that gays
shud be protected by law because they are minority, we shud as well protect
our criminally minded leaders, the witches, the whores, the thieves, liars,
ritualists, rebels, the terrorists etc since they are also minority in our
society. Secondly, comparing homosexuality to being black is really a
stupid comparism if you ask me because black is nothing close to minority,
go to Asia, America, Australia; Middleeast and ofcus Africa, you will find
out that everybody there has one way or the other, the blackline, you
will find out that the locals all have black (Africanism) bloodline
heritage history and even language. And talking of hatred, i´am a bit
perturbed you can not see that the introduction or forcing of
homosexualism on/to people, is forcing you to hate the opposite sex if not
yourself. Again, the so called countries that are progressing cus they
allowed homosexualism shud not be our problem, it is their culture and not
ours, so let them do whatever thye want to do. We were not born through
having sex with apes (neandertal) so we shud not follow the footsteps of
those who were/are, and shud not do things because they are doing it, we
shud act like the humans that we are and crush any animalistic acts. Thank

My goodness you guys can talk from morning till night homosexuality will
still remain criminalized in Nigeria that’s a fact. I feel every country as
right to enact laws that affect their citizens. I feel homosexuality is a
choice just as choosing to be good or bad is a choice
nigerians are just a bunch of hypocrites, u cant jail ppl for their
sexuality. they always claim to be religious but the truth is the country
is in shambles and there is no atom of the so called christianity and islam
as majority religion making any positive impact.
Let’s be realistic, humans are very inquisitive beings. How did young girls
become homo sexuals? Ask majority if not almost all of them. Its in only
female schools. So if this is not criminalized and I send my daughters to
the boarding houses. I loose them and they become lesbians. Right? Same for
only boys schools. So why are we even discussing this? I agree with Govt.
They should criminalize it and create even stiffer penalties.
homosexuality is a the most wicked form of hate that is now being
introduced to us. homosexuality is even worse than slavery, colonialism and
foreign religions (such as chritianity and islam), slavery lost its
popularity and colonialism was born, colonialism rested in pieces and
religion was introduced, now religion is on the brink of collapse and
homosexualism is surfacing, beleive me, I am so sure that in due time, we
will begin to see men hate on women who are not lesbians and women begin
to hate on men who are not gays. I think the west shud stop forcing their
evil morals on us, if the west so love the homosexuals, and beleive that
the practise is right, let them take this people to their countries, and
stop forcing or condenming other countries who do not want this immoral
and devilish practise. For instance, some countries in europe do nt allow
euthanasia, and therefore, people are allowed to be taken to those
countries who allow it, so let them take these (sick) people in.
Furthermore, to those of us who think of protecting the homosexual in a
country or community, shud also not forget that the interest of the
heterosexuals, shud also not be ignored. Infact, the heteros, are the ones
who need this protection more than anyone cus they are the ones to bring
forth children and future leaders. Please dont tell me about sorrogate
mothers (or whatever you call it) because this only makes you gays more
stupid, You want to be a homosexual, fine, then go to countries where it is
allowed, not in Nigeria, i dont think this is so difficult to understand?
