9 Comments on “Selling Obama (ft. Harper Reed, the former CTO for the Obama 2012 campaign)”

  1. This guy exemplifies the sophistry & subversion of democracy of the
monopolistic 2 party political system. Marketing is always puffery of
product regardless of how it’s disseminated. This high tech snare for the
youth is fully in line with the regime that he serves & supports (Hitler
Youth Leader?). Americans had more choices than either Obama or Romney but
not enough were paying attention to the selling of the presidency, The
State would probably be a little more totalitarian under Romney but in
2016, it will become more obvious that both of the 2 “major” party
candidates will continue to tighten the noose around our necks by their
puffed promises & velvet gloved manipulation (inverted totalitarian
strategy). Oksana is correctly suspicious about the corrosive effects on
all of us struggling democracies that this hi tech political market
strategy commands. Govts. all over the world are wrestling away power from
somebody else, thanks to our arms industry. Since 1945, it’s only been the
GOP & Dems responsible for that & every economic boom, bubble & bust that’s
occurred. It’s the systems they created that’s incapable of reform or
restructuring. Our surviving democracy is impatient for change.

  2. I have heard what Mr. Reed says more often said by many others also from
the US. It is rhetoric, rhetoric,, rhetoric, rhetoric and rhetoric and you
Oksana stopped him right from vomiting.

  3. Democracy as a product…virtually all Congressmen and Senators are
multi-millionaires, Obama and Romney each raised over $1 billion at the
last election. The US has turned into an elitist corporatocracy, and
without a whole lotta $$$, you can only dream of entering politics…

  4. Hi Oksana,

I think this subject has been done to death. And your guests nowadays are
not as renown as it used to be. You need guests who can attract audience
    to build up this channel

  5. Yeah, but all you guys are missing the key point of it all. This guy is
fookin good. Real smooth, check out the shit eating grins on Boyko, he’s
got her eating out of his hands. How insanely refined to come on a damn
confrontative show like this to espouse Obama virtues and not once come off
hypocritical, or even obtuse. I’m impressed nevertheless. And less so with
    Boyko missing key followups.

  6. You don’t have a choice you have an option. They care only to persuaded you
of authenticity, truth is they are both as corrupt as each other, your vote
is consent and once you vote your sold.
    Great interview as always

  7. We need a box on the voters ballet that states: “None of the above”
referring to the selection of elected individuals. If a majority choose
none of the above, then the choices must not have leadership qualities. As
well, presidency should not be every 4 years, it should be every 2 years,
    IMHO.

  8. Obama, specifically, has been marketed through the Net and all social media
like a product. The depth of deception and lies offered from his campaign
in 2008 and 2012 set a new benchmark. I remember getting my first emails
from the Obama campaign in 2008 and they were very personalized as if he
needed my personal contribution. I asked them to stop sending those
emails. THE MANNER IN WHICH HE WAS MARKETED ONLINE BEAR NO RESEMBLANCE TO
THE LAIR AND DECEIVING FRAUD HE HAS BEEN IN OFFICE. This guy could be any
online marketing huckster. The truth is Obama may be the worst President
    ever.

  9. Где суБтитры ????????????????
