  1. Im gay and I fucking agree.. You cant just Force someone to accept you. Especially if it goes against a religious belief. Religion most of the time is someones whole life and then all of the sudden you want to shut theur mouths to get what you want?

  2. It's frustrating to see that businesses are being forced to provide services to a certain people. If they don't want to accept service, that's their business. They don't have to provide a service to a particular group of people if they don't want to. Not saying that's right, but it's THEIR business.

  3. Ok re read the section about the cakeshop but swap the word "gay" for "black"……

The're not forcing them to take part in the wedding, they are asking them to bake a fucking cake for cash… Religion is not an excuse to act like an intolerent prick.

"Sorry my religion says i dont have to serve Chinese people and the Mexicans" that wouldnt fly so why is "I haz a godz, so no queers near me" a valid excuse.

  4. Yeah this is my issue too. It's already becoming an issue in the UK- they're going to start forcing Anglican vicars to marry gay people against their will- how is that right?

  5. Honestly, it still makes no sense to me why these people would choose to take services from someone who discriminates against them. Vote with your dollars you idiots! I don't like people who discriminate against gays, so I hope these idiots wake up. I would love to be a photographer for a gay wedding (if I were a photographer). What a great economic opportunity! There are now a larger pool of weddings for photographers to make money off of. It is ironic that gays would force them to take advantage of that economic opportunity when they otherwise wouldn't on their own. The only thing I can think of is maybe if you live in small town Oklahoma or something, and you are gay, then perhaps you literally can't find a photographer or baker or whatever who would be willing to provide services for your wedding. I can see how that might be a problem, but I am not familiar with the particular cases or circumstances so I can't really comment on that. Personally, I wouldn't even hire anyone to perform services for a straight wedding who is anti-gay. That's voting with your dollars.

  6. You are stop on and it's exactly what I've been thinking after the baker case. I don't think anyone should be forced to do something against there will because it offends any group. These are the type of people who aren't happy until they are fighting with someone!!

  7. There never has been a homosexual wedding. People of the same sex cannot marry. It is impossible. The reason why homosexuals demand that we participate in and support same sex "marriage" is obvious. They are Karl Popper open society freaks. There is a difference between a free society and an open society. The latter is based on the demand that we accept everyone's life choices as legitimate. That is delusional.

  8. The only issues it's going to cause are those who make it an issue for themselves, such as claiming religious freedom to try to deny constitutionally guaranteed rights to anyone gay  through the use of religious freedom. A good example of that is that cake maker not too long ago that CHOSE to close her business and go strictly online in the name of her religion simply because she buys into the hate gay falsehoods of some people are wrongly teaching using biblical dogma. it's going to take awhile yet for laws and the legal system to catch up with the current legal challenges happening even now.YOU and no one else but YOU will be responsible for any issues that happen around and to you concerning gay and religious freedom.

  9. Jesus Christ you're thick. You say it's bothering you that the government is forcing businesses to do something against their will. Then by that logic it should also be legal for businesses to not sell to blacks or Jews or natives or Republicans. Should that be legal too? Do you actually have a brain in your head? Have you not given any of these things some thought before you expose your ignorance to thousands of people?

  10. No one got elected to bake a cake. Though Kim Davis did get elected to be a county clerk. So, I can understand the anger at Kim Davis for refusing to do her job. However, a baker is a whole different story. It's their own business and they have the right to refuse whoever they want.

  11. if the wedding companies and churches are refusing to service a gay couple then they are being homophobic, whether its a rule in the bible or not it's still homophobic and should not be excepted in 2016. What they need to do is look at them and equals and get the fuck over their homophobia.

  12. Until churches and other religious institutions are forced to pay taxes like the rest of us, I doubt the government will do anything as ridiculous as forcing them to marry gays.

  13. I know this video is from a year ago, buuuut.. I think the reason they want to force a church to perform a 'wedding', force a baker to make them a cake, force a clerk to issue them a license (when they easily could have went to another clerk and got what they wanted) Is because they want to FORCE religious people to go against their Bible based belief system. It's not only about what they WANT, but about not wanting ANY Bible based opposition that is against their type of lifestyle choice. In other words, they want THEIR choice, but they want to use America's freedom to take away anyone else's freedom of choice.

  14. Julie, I'm a big fan of your videos, and I mostly agree with you.

But, suppose a black couple come into a bakery, and the baker says "I'm sorry, I don't believe in black weddings, that's against my religion."

    Are you cool with that?

Because if you are not cool with that but you are cool with the gay couple? I believe you have a lot of thinking to do.

  15. Here is what happens to businesses who refuse to serve certain people:They only punished themselves by not using this opportunity to make more money. The person who did not get served will take his business elsewhere to someone who will serve them, and that business owner will make more money.
If a business owner fools a gay couple into paying more than a heterosexual one, and it can be proven, that is different.

  16. Hey, a lesbian here! I just want to say I totally 100% agree withh her, and if I ever get married to my girlfriend, it's not going to be at a church because I don't belive we should interfer with religons that don't agree with our choices. Seriosuly? Do homosexuals feel intidled to have there wedding at a church and begin to shame the church for not accepting to have there wedding there because of their religous beliefs? You have, beaches, muesems, lakes, and all these other beautiful places to have a wedding, but you MUST have it at a church

  17. If you have a company that provides services in weddings, and you refuse to offer your services to a gay couple, you are discriminating against them. it's DISCRIMINATION. It doesn't matter your reasons to do so, if it's because of religious beliefs or watever (I could claim I don't offer services to chinese people because it's against my beliefs…). Now, if you think the government is being too invasive by forcing people not to discriminate against each other, for the sake of coherence you would have to be against the anti-discriminatory law and the size of the government; it's not about gay marriage itself. And churches are not companies.

  18. Well, think of it like this: If you replace the word "gay" with the word "black" and then said all of this again, would you still have the same opinion on it? It's a civil rights issue. I'm all for churches being able to say "No, my religion is against this, so I won't marry you here," but a company offering services to the public? The last time we allowed businesses to turn away people for such arbitrary reasons was during the time of the Jim Crow laws.

That said, obviously I don't think we should force anyone to marry them, but things like state-wide bans on gay marriage violate not only the rights of the gay people being suppressed, but also the rights of anyone who is okay with performing a gay wedding ceremony. If you just leave it as being up to the individual churches or privately ordained citizens to decide, then you still have the possibility of the religious nuts turning them away, while allowing others who are fine with it to participate. What if a whole state collectively decides they aren't going to do that? Well, then there needs to be a federally protected option that has all of the same legal weight as the option they aren't being allowed, and currently there is, but our laxness in the enforcement of the separation of church and state has allowed for some people who are in that job to simply refuse to do their job and grant these marriage certificates.

This is why gays are being so aggressive about it, even at the risk of potentially going too far and infringing on someone else's rights. When a group is marginalized and oppressed like that, this sort of thing happens, whether it is well thought out or not, and it won't stop until they are truly and thoroughly recognized as being as equal as every other group, which they are not currently. As it is right now, they are the only group that you can still legally discriminate against.

  19. lbgt is so hostile to religious liberty , can't they live and let live like they claimed for decades conservatives wouldn't let them do ? if a catholic bakery doesn't want to make a cake for your same sex wedding go to another baker. simple as that. you have the media on your side, you've done an excellent job at dehumanizing those who disagree with you, just go to another florist or bakery

  20. can someone explain to me why they are anti gay-marriage? I'm legitimately asking, no shade, I really just don't understand and want to learn more

  21. I agree with you, but couldn't you use the same argument in favor of segregation? That is, if many people had a religious objection to serving those of other races.

  22. What indications do you have, that gay weddings are enforced by law? Just because they are allowed does not mean you are forced to participate.
